Cattle Conditioning Improves Coat Quality

We’re delighted to see the fantastic progress of this group of Wagyu cross calves in Southern Scotland.

On arrival, the calves had dull coats, signs of ringworm, and looked unlikely to thrive. They were initially given a dose of our Stockbooster drench, followed by respiratory support from PSV Breathezee during the first month, all the while having free access to PSV Cattle Conditioning Mineral throughout.

The results speak for themselves — the calves have achieved daily liveweight gains of between 1 and 1.1kg, with noticeable improvements in condition and coat quality. The farmer is now using the same approach for future batches.
