Dear Brinicombe Equine,
Since feeding Think Fly I no longer have to apply cream to my irish draught’s girth and sheath areas. Before feeding Think Fly he would be covered in blood and very sensitive. Last summer after feeding Think Fly this stopped happening so I have decided to continue this feeding regime again this year.

Dear Brinicombe Equine,
We live in the New Forest which has a wealth of nasty flies. When I started to feed Think Fly I noticed a difference almost immediately, my horse is far less bothered than the other horses and I no longer have to coat him in creams or sprays so he is a much happier chap! Thank you for this fab product!

Dear Brinicombe Equine,
When I bought my mare her mane was very stubbly because she had rubbed it so much that summer. I put her on Think Fly and this year she went into the winter with a mane! When I compare her now to the photographs when I first bought her the improvement is excellent.

Dear Brinicombe Equine,
My Arab/Welsh gelding suffers with serious fly bites. He comes up in nasty lumps all over his body which have a discharge and cause him to rub due to the itching. I decided to try Think Fly Granules and within a week I noticed an improvement. There was a remarkable reduction in the bites / stings and now he only occasionally gets the odd lump which does not cause him any discomfort. He is much happier in himself and I have fed it to him for 3 summers with excellent results. Because of this success I also tried Think Fly on my other horse who suffered with sweet itch. I used to control this with a brown coloured cream, but it wasn’t ideal as he has a white mane and tail! The cream had to be applied every few days and I ended up with a dirty, greasy looking horse! Since using Think Fly for the last 3 years I have not needed to apply any of the cream. The difference really has been remarkable! I have also noticed that both horses appear much more calm and settled – so much so that I am tempted to feed it all year round!

Dear Brinicombe Equine,
Last year I was at my wits end every time I rode out on my ID x TB mare in the spring, summer and autumn. If a fly landed on her she would buck, spin, lather up and be a complete nightmare to ride. Looking through a magazine I saw Think Fly and decided to give it a try. I am now on my fifth tub, and (touchwood) so far this year she has been an angel!
S.M. Northants
Dear Brinicombe Equine,
This product has had 100% success on my horse who previously had a very low tolerance to midges and flies. As we are so pleased with the results with our horse we have now bought Tub Fly for our cattle.
G. L. Pembs.
Dear Brinicombe Equine,
We live on the Fens where there are lots of ditches and drains with an enormous population of flies and midges which bite, sting and aggravate the horses (and people!). I started to feed Think Fly and within a week noticed the flies were on me, not on my mare! I wish you could make something for us poor riders!!

Dear Brinicombe Equine,
My Haflinger mare, Trudi, had terrible lumps and bumps all over her belly and right up her back, and also suffered badly with ticks. I put her on Think Fly, but did not give any to my Highland. She absolutely loves the taste, and after 4 weeks, she has no fly bites and no ticks, whereas the Highland mare has lots! I have now put the Highland onto Think Fly too! Trudi's coat is gleaming and her hooves are also really healthy. She is looking so well and I am really impressed with Think Fly. I have to admit that I didn't think anything would help her but I am delighted - I think I need to start taking it myself!

Dear Brinicombe Equine,
My 2 year old is generally itchy all over so I decided to try Think Fly Lick. After about 2 - 3 weeks I gradually realised it was helping and he has definitely become less irritable. I have now ordered a 20kg!
M. B. Glos
Dear Brinicombe Equine,
My mare hates any sort of flies and she normally has to wear a sweet-itch hoody at all times, with fly spray. However, since feeding Think Fly she is no longer distressed by flies when ridden and is very calm even when other horses around her are being bitten. Before feeding Think Fly she would shake and kick herself. G. M. Devon
Dear Brinicombe Equine,
One of my horses has severe sweet itch, the other just hates flies. I have used Think Fly for 2 years now and both horses seem happier. I still see flies land on them, but they are noticeably better than without Think Fly.
K.M. Cornwall
Dear Brinicombe Equine,
My cob grazes near ponds and ditches so there are lots of midges around. Within a week of feeding Think Fly I started to see an improvement, but due to a holiday I ran out for a few days. I then found that it took 2 weeks to become effective again, but I can now ride through clouds of midges and they are ‘bouncing back’ off him and biting me instead! I have also had great results with another mare who used to need fly veils, rugs and a bottle of fly spray a week!
J.M. Cambs.
Dear Brinicombe Equine,
My horse hates flies and in the past she has been very ill due to an allergic reaction to fly bites. I started Think Fly and saw an improvement in less than 4 weeks, and almost immediately I was able to stop using fly sprays. In the past she was even difficult to ride past areas of midges and flies but, now she is on 4 scoops of Think Fly, she is out at grass all day staying settled and calm. To date she has had no horrendous fly bites at all. This is a great relief for me because I am allergic to fly sprays!! Thank you so much.
A. P. York
Dear Brinicombe Equine,
In the past my horse has damaged her joints during the fly season because she spent all day pacing up and down creating peculiar tracks in the field, and she would be so upset by the flies that she wouldn’t graze. This year, after 7 weeks of feeding Think Fly, I noticed that she had stopped pacing and started grazing. She now grazes freely and appears not to feel the need to walk. On a few occasions I have noticed horse flies land and go to bite, but just before they do they detach themselves and fly off. My horse is less pestered by the flies and she is enjoying getting fat as she is actually eating the grass now!!
K.B. Kent
Dear Brinicombe Equine,
I chose Think Fly for my Andalusian because I wanted something more helpful and longer lasting than sprays. Although I am waiting to assess the results at the end of the summer, so far there has been visibly less fly trouble, which is particularly noticeable in the woods where the problem can be bad.
J. W. Beds.
Dear Brinicombe Equine,
My moorland gelding is itchy in the summer and has a breathing ‘rattle’ in the winter. I tried Think Fly and Think Clear and in March he had a full mane and a much better tail than he had the same time last year. I will definitely use the products again, and I have re-ordered.
B.W. Scotland
Dear Brinicombe Equine,
I've been using Think Fly on my three horses for the past two years now and shall do so again when the fly season starts as it really works. I was taking part in an Endurance Pleasure Ride on my Appaloosa gelding, Rowberton Jupiter along with my friend Kim on her horse Cool Blue and when we rode through a forest that was full of flies and midges she commented on how 'Jazz' had no flies on him with very few buzzing around him whereas 'Blue' had them landing on him and biting, even though she had sprayed 'Blue' before we set off. I told her about Think Fly and now she gives it to her horses as well.

Dear Brinicombe Equine,
I have an irish cob who until we tried Think fly was in a bad state with his skin but only in patches. The vets tested samples of the "scurf" both quickly and over a two week period and found nothing "sinister". I saw the advert for Think Fly and decided " nothing ventured, nothing gained"
The supplement was added to his feed from early May and as suggested the flies were disinclined to bother him unless we were near a herd of cattle!
He spent a much more comfortable summer and I have decided to keep him on half rations all through the winter as we have had such mild weather.
He is so much happier and I have recommended Think Fly to other equine friends.
On top of this, the service and dispatch is quick and reliable - I just can't fault it.
Thank you Brinicombe!

Dear Brinicombe Equine,
When I bought Barney in May 2005 he had some lumps on his neck which soon spread all over his body and his tail was also very badly rubbed.
All summer these lumps troubled me more than him as I think he enjoyed scratching himself against every immovable object and although they disappeared briefly with the onset of winter they were soon back in the New Year of 2006, way before the flies made an appearance.
Then in May last year I read about Think Fly in the BHS magazine and even though it was more expensive than the occasional bottle of fly spray I thought it was worth trying as I could control the application by adding it to his feed.
I can honestly say we have never looked back; Barney has had virtually no lumps at all this summer, his tail is now perfect and as soon as the first lump appears this season he will be back on it. I am now also responsible for the care of a horse who suffers with sweet itch and he will also be getting some each day in his feed.
Many thanks for this splendid product.

Dear Brinicombe Equine,
We have about 20 Icelandic horses, and we breed, train and compete. Icelandics are particularly susceptible to Sweet-itch, and Icelandic horse owners are experts in the pros and cons of every preparation, both natural and chemical, known to man and horse. We are also experts in every fly rug you have heard of, and many you probably have never come across, in order to find a good way of keeping our horses comfortable during the midgey months.
Having had considerable success with some of your sheep products, I have tried the Think Fly tubs and granules, and am amazed at the huge difference they make to our horses' comfort. Chemicals and rugs are a thing of the past, and if we use the Think Fly properly and consistently, it is the only thing we need to use.
F.P. Worcester
Dear Brinicombe Equine,
I have been feeding Think Fly all summer and my horse has not needed to wear her fly rug this year.

Dear Brinicombe Equine,
My gelding gets urticaria from fly bites all year round. He ate the Think Fly readily and I started to see an improvement within 2 weeks. He is still getting bitten, but he is reacting far less and I am hoping that the longer he is on the product the better he will become. We have tried every fly spray and supplement on the market and this has been the best yet!

Dear Brinicombe Equine,
My horse reacts badly to fly bites and comes in with huge lumps on his neck so I decided to try Think Fly. He ate it readily and I saw an improvement in 4 – 5 days. I started feeding it in April and I noticed that the flies started to avoid him. I have continued to feed it everyday increasing / decreasing the dose depending on the weather and the flies. Now in June there are a lot of flies around but he has had no fly bites and is no longer running around the field! So far I am very happy with the product.

Dear Brinicombe Equine,
Think Fly is brilliant! Now the flies go for me instead…Do you do a human version?
S. Staffs
Dear Brinicombe Equine,
I fed Think Fly to my two horses and noticed an improvement within 2 weeks. When I finished the pack I went 2 days without it, and noticed large numbers of flies settling on them, which we had not seen before. We therefore concluded that the product was in fact effective and re ordered!
J.M. Hants
Dear Brinicombe Equine,
My horses aren't rubbing their tails as much as they were but as we have only been feeding it for a couple of weeks it will be interesting to see how they get on over the next month.
A.B. Derbys
Dear Brinicombe Equine,
My two geldings suffer horribly with flies, and no matter how many products I have tried nothing seemed to last effectively. It made riding in the summer difficult as they were so miserable with flies all around them. Thank goodness a friend told me about Think Fly! Both horses loved the granules in their feed and after a fortnight I was really pleased with the product. For the first time my horses were virtually fly free and therefore much happier. This product really works.

Dear Brinicombe Equine,
I feed Think Fly to my two horses for our problem with lots of hungry horse flies. Although I cant say that they never land or annoy the horses now, they are certainly less bothered than the other horses in the field not fed Think Fly . It is better than spraying them as it gives 24/7 protection, where as I find sprays only last a couple of hours at most.
T.S., Cornwall
Dear Brinicombe Equine,
My 24 year old mare has severe allergy problems, liver damage from ragwort poisoning and COPD. Allergy testing has shown that she is allergic to pollen, insects, grasses, soya and wheat. She has an itchy skin that is scurfy and has bald patches and she comes up in lumps when bitten. I decided to feed Think Fly this summer. She ate the granules readily, but was not so interested in the Tub version. Both her and her stable mate have been fed Think Fly . They are noticeably less bothered by flies, and the mare's coat condition has also improved. Interestingly, her droppings are no longer as loose as they were. Brinicombe Equine has been a pleasure to deal with. The staff are helpful and knowledgeable and very approachable. Deliveries have arrived on time and I am confident to recommend the company and products.

Dear Brinicombe Equine,
I have looked after two rescued Dartmoor hill ponies since they were weaned, they are now 9 years old. I bought Think Fly at the Devon County Show in May and started to feed it straight away. The ponies found it very palatable, and for the first time in 9 years we have experienced no fly problems. The ponies have been very comfortable and fly free this summer. I am delighted with Think Fly , particularly as one of the ponies has recently developed a sarcoid, but I do not think this will bother him as the flies keep well away. We have recommended this product to a friend with an itchy pony, and she is also feeding it to her goat!
A.B., Devon
Dear Brinicombe Equine,
My Dales pony has normal fly problems when in the field and while ridden. I have tried rugs and fly repellents in the past. I have been feeding Think Fly for two months, and noticed an improvement within just a few days. This is the best product I have ever used! She has had no problems with flies this year, she is relaxed and happy and even the horse flies aren't biting. She loves the taste and it is nice to see her in the field relaxed, with no tail swishing and no runny eyes. Fantastic! Your service was also very good, and delivery excellent.

Dear Brinicombe Equine,
My Connemara gets urticaria as a reaction to fly bites in the summer. In the past the Vet has recommended an anti-septic fly spray. I have been feeding Think Fly for 3 months and saw a difference after just a few days. It is a great product to assist with fly sprays and is palatable, unlike other fly supplements.

Dear Brinicombe Equine,
My Welsh B is bothered by flies. Last year he was very itchy, but so far this year he has been fine. In the past I have used various sprays and rub-ons. I started feeding Think Fly straight away, and very soon I noticed that the flies started to leave him alone. The product is excellent.
H.M., Suffolk
Dear Brinicombe Equine,
My pure bred Arab does not have sweet itch exactly, but she rubs her tail and she gets lumps as a result of fly bites. Normally I use sprays, lotions and creams but this year she had an anti-sweet itch injection from the Vet and I have continued to use a midge repellent cream on the top of her tail. Swallow is elderly, so I introduced Think Fly gradually. Last month the flies started to get bad, but Swallow remained settled in the field, and is more settled than the other horses in the field that are not fed Think Fly. I will buy the product again, and probably won't bother to get her injected by the Vet next time. I was very impressed by how quickly the product was delivered.

Dear Brinicombe Equine,
I have two appalossas, one aged 10, the other just 2. Both suffer with major fly problems, including lumps and bumps and distressed behaviour. The ridden horse wears a sweet itch rug and mask in the field and is difficult to ride with the flies, and the youngster started to rub his mane and tail to the point of becoming sore. I have been using both Think Fly Tub and Granules. After a couple of weeks a started to see an improvement and I was completely satisfied with the products after 8 weeks. The results have been fantastic! The mare has calmed down a lot and no longer wears a rug. The youngster's mane and tail have started to grow back and the skin is healing. There are still flies about but they do not land or stay around for long. For years I have wasted a lot of time and money on all kinds of lotions and potions, rugs etc. The animals hated being sprayed and being dragged in all the time. This is the only product I have ever tried in over 30 years that works! Thank you. (P.S. I recommend it to everyone!)
U.F., Worcestershire
Dear Brinicombe Equine,
I ride a couple of friends' horses out for them. Last Friday, I rode both of them when it was very warm. They are kept within a couple of miles from each other, so I actually ride out on the same country lanes, and there was only about an hour between both rides. When I rode the second horse, we were both plagued by flies and midges, they were a real nuisance. This made me realise that I had no such problems with the first horse - in fact only a single horse fly landed, and this was on me! It wasn't until later that I realised that the first horse I rode is fed Think Fly , where as the second one isn't! I am already feeding the Tub to my own horses, but I was amazed at the difference I saw on Friday. Surely this can only be down to Think Fly ? On telling this story to both owners, the second said they will order some Think Fly for their horse too, where as the first owner commented that she hadn't really noticed the flies this year - this is probably because she has been feeding Think Fly all along!
Mrs G., Devon
Dear Brinicombe Equine,
I am feeding Think Fly to my 4 horses, aged between 2 and 20. One of the horses is a Morgan, who has sweet itch. My Vet recommended that I buy him a rug, but he hates them, and won't allow me to put one on! I bought both the Tub and Granules, and all the horses ate them happily, though I preferred using the Granules. I was entirely satisfied after just a week, and have started to see an improvement. The real test will come when it starts to hot up, but I have full confidence in Think Fly !
A.W., Herefordshire
Dear Brinicombe Equine,
I just wanted to let you know how pleased I am with Think Fly . My horse is a very picky eater and never finishes his feeds. When I bought Think Fly , I purchased some Straight Forward Mint as well, assuming I would need to disguise the taste to get him to eat it. However, to my amazement, he is not only eating the Think Fly happily, but he is licking the bowl clean for the first time ever! I have not needed the mint at all! So far I am delighted with the product, and I will let you know how he gets on with the flies.
Mrs D., Devon
Dear Brinicombe Equine,
I have a 17.2 shire x TB on which I do dressage and she kicks out vigorously at flies in the summer and sometimes catches herself. This has been much better since I began feeding her Think Fly . Our pony has the worst itch I have ever seen. I am using both the Tub in the field, and adding granules to her feed, and she is wearing a rug and hood. This system seems to be successful at present. Your service was good and the products arrived promptly. I began using them immediately and they appear to have had a good effect so far. I intend to order more.
