Think Mud

What you said...

Dear Brinicombe Equine,

Mr P. is a dressage horse and had competed all over the world in his hey-day, even spending a year in Australia. Now age 20 and retired, he absolutely refuses to spend any time in a stable and has to live out throughout the winter, whatever the weather.  For the last few years he has had a problem on a hind white sock, but last year it was particularly bad. He developed a huge oozing crack almost an inch deep and he could not walk properly. After three courses of antibiotics, the vet recommended that we have him put down as it was so wet and muddy and we could not stable him to get him out of the mud. As an absolute last resort we tried Think Mud – either it worked, or we would have him put down. After just two weeks the wound was healed, and after 4 weeks the hair started to grow back. A year later and we are still feeding Think Mud. He has clean heels with hair on them for the first time in 6 years. Magic!

Dear Brinicombe Equine,

My racehorse developed mud fever at the end of the summer so I started with Think Mud. I used no washes, creams or sprays and in just 16 days the results were unbelieveable!

Dear Brinicombe Equine,

Due to a combination of the wet winter and our very low lying land, my welsh pony lost his hair and feathers behind his fetlocks in the mud. His skin was pink and he couldn’t stride out properly at shows. In November '08 I started to feed Think Mud and after only 14 days I could see an improvement in his hair and by the middle of January his feather has started to grow back.

Dear Brinicombe Equine,

Our horses are turned out everyday cone rain, shine or mud! With the help of Think Mud they still look good and I have never had any skin reactions to mud, and there is lots of it at the moment!                        K.J. Hants

Dear Brinicombe Equine,

My Irish gelding hunts once or twice a week so he is in contact with lots of different mud and bacteria. He usually requires 3 or 4 courses of anti-biotics during the winter in order to keep on top of the mud reactions. I found that I needed to introduce Think Mud to his feed very gradually, but within 3 weeks I could see an improvement. Since feeding Think Mud he has not needed antibiotics as he seems to fight off the infection himself. My fingers are crossed for this winter – as this time I have started feeding it early as a preventative.

Dear Brinicombe Equine,

I have owned my horse for 4 years and for the last 3 he has needed anti-biotics during the winter due to mud reactions & filled legs. This winter his legs have remained in good condition and he has not needed any veterinary treatment. I cannot think what else has caused this improvement, other than the addition of Think Mud to his diet.

Dear Brinicombe Equine,

My two horses live out throughout the winter so I started Think Mud in early autumn. Neither horse has had any skin reactions, even in the wettest & muddiest conditions. My Welsh mare has feathered feet and has suffered in previous years, but (so far) this year she has been free of sore heels.  They both ate the product at the full rate straight away and I am very satisfied as despite horrendous conditions both horses have been fine.

Dear Brinicombe Equine,

Flicka had a reaction to the mud last winter which was worse than ever before. It started on one leg and then spread to the other three, even the chestnut one, with the swelling and scabs going above her knees and hocks. I tried every remedy I could, including recommendations by our vets, but nothing improved it. I was absolutely desperate, then I tried feeding `Think Well` as I felt she needed a boost to her immune system. The effect was remarkable - in a week there was a real difference, and within a month all the scabs and swelling had gone. I shall definitely be feeding it again this winter!

Dear Brinicombe Equine,
I used Think Mud on a 20 year old thoroughbred last year. She is thin skinned and has suffered with mud reactions regularly. Last winter not only did her skin remain healthy despite a very wet season, but her breathing improved as a result of the antioxidants in the product.

Dear Brinicombe Equine,

So far this winter Whisper has not had any skin reactions, wholly I think, due to Think Mud. This means she can go in the field everyday and doesnt have to be stabled for long periods. Last winter she had to be stabled and go through the distress of having scabs picked off her legs.  Three of my friends are now using Think Mud after seeing the improvement in my horse.
