Straight Forward Molasses is naturally produced from sugar cane during the production of sugar. It is mainly recognized for its sugar content, which is approximately 46% sugar, but it is also a useful source of B vitamins and trace elements.
It's sweet taste makes an ideal supplement for fussy eaters, encouraging horses to eat up their feed. It may also be used as a source of energy for ailing horses. For those that make their own home mixes, Straight Forward Molasses may be incorporated into the mix to help reduce dust.
Straight Forward Molasses is easy to pour and mix with feed. It could also be mixed with water and sprayed over hay to improve consumption by picky eaters, or horses that lose their appetite while away from home. Diluted molasses should be used within 48 hours to prevent fermentation.
