Topical Questions & Answers

Q. How can a feed supplement help with mud reactions?

A. Mud is not just an external problem, as it is the horse's immune system which dictates how the body reacts to the bacteria, and how long it takes to heal. Think Mud provides the right nutrition so you can ensure that the horse is healthy on the inside to help fight off the reaction and repair the skin.

Q. My horse lives out in the summer and has hay in the winter. She gets a scoop of mix throughout the year. Why might I need vitamins and minerals as well?

A. Most horse feeds are designed to provide a balanced source of nutrients, but only when fed at the recommended amount. If you actually weigh your feed you will probably find that you are feeding a lot less than they recommend, which means you need a supplement
such as Think Complete to make up the difference. Supplements are perfect for ensuring your horse is getting everything he needs without increasing the hard feed.

Q. I am looking for a natural supplement to help improve hoof condition. What can you recommend?

A. Think Hard is a very comprehensive supplement for improved strength, condition and growth rate of the hooves. The unique natural formula has a blend of rosehips and seaweed as the base (both traditionally fed for hoof quality) with high spec chelated trace elements, minerals and MSM to nutrionally support the hooves. It contains no artificial colours, flavours or chemicals and as it is a powder, rather than pellet, it mixes easily with your current feed.

Q. Our two horses have become best friends, and now when the gelding is left behind he frets and makes a nuisance of himself. Would a calmer help?

A. We have had great feedback for Think Calm used for this exact situation. It just helps to take the edge off so that the horse left behind will settle more quickly. After a couple of weeks of feeding, leaving him on his own should no longer be such a big problem.
