Zenif turned 4 this year and has now been backed and is ready to start his endurance career in 2012 after completing an Endurance GB Christmas pleasure ride and winning the BEF Futurity at The Grange in 2010 and being awarded joint 2nd nationally for endurance young stock.
Forward Thinking Skin Spray has been a brilliant addition to my horses first aid kit for the field and after competitions. We train the endurance horses over all terrain and nicks and cuts are inevitable even with protective boots but the skin spray helps clear up grazes quickly and the tea tree oil also keeps the flies away and makes the horse smell lovely. I also spray the legs after endurance competitions to help cool the legs.
Prolyte Plus Syrup is liked by all of my horses. I add it to their stable drinking water prior to, during and after competitions so that they will drink the product whilst at any event across the UK or further afield to prevent dehydration and replace important electrolytes. I also add prolyte plus powder to sugar beet prior to soaking so that the horses ingest the product everyday to ensure they have the reserves they require to do their job properly and ensure peace of mind for my crew and I.
Foot perfect hoof cream improved the quality of one of my horses hooves this year when adverse weather conditions dried his hooves after the wet spring followed by a hot summer. My Arabs hoof started to resemble the cracked ground we trained over! The cream moisturised the hooves and enriched the quality of the horn within a short space of time. The hoof looked visibly darker once the cream had been applied and the sweet almond oil smelt lovely whilst it was being applied.
