Topical Questions and Answers

I have been using Garlic tubs to help combat fly nuisance in my young cattle for last few years, but I have heard that you do something similar. Could you tell me more about them?

Tub Fly contains Repel-Ex, a combination of 15 elements and extracts that have all been found to have fly repelling properties. This combination of ingredients is exceptionally effective in the reduction of fly nuisance, and is unique to the marketplace.
Tub Fly also provides a full specification of trace elements, vitamins and minerals to maintain health and improve growth rates.

Can I feed your Tub Fly to my summer calving cows?

We would recommend that you feed Tub EC + Fly (Easi-Calver) in place of Tub Fly. Tub EC + Fly has been formulated for all summer calving herds, to help reduce the risk of disease spread & fly worry at this crucial stage. Ideally make the tub available 8 weeks pre-calving to help aid with the development of the unborn calf and help to speed up the calving process.

Last back end, our flock had a very heavy tick burden and we would be keen to reduce the risk of this happening again this year. I have seen your Bug-A-Tub advertised, would this do the job?

In a word, yes. Bug-A-Tub has been developed to reduce parasitic attack and irritation, and has been shown to be very effective against blood sucking parasites, particularly ticks and lice. This tub contains Para-Guard, a unique systemic package that can alter blood palatability making it hostile to parasites. Bug-A-Tub also contains all the vitamins, minerals and trace elements required to help balance grazing and maintain health and production.

I am interested in your Tub Fly, but I am an organic farmer. What can you suggest for my stock?

We now have Simply Green Fly tubby available for use within an organic system. Tub SGF is based on our Simply Green tubby, with a high inclusion rate of garlic to help to reduce fly irritation. As there is no copper added it can be used for both cattle and sheep safely.
